DIY Christmas Cleaning Paste

This lovely Christmas scented cleaning paste can be used all around your home to get marks off walls, make your bath and shower sparkle or get baked on gunk off pots and pans.

One of my favourite ways to use it is on the shower glass, it helps to get those bothersome calcium deposits off and keep them away. Just wet a sponge, apply the paste, rub over the glass and then spray off with water.

For extra hard spots use the paste then spray with our Double Strength White Vinegar and use some elbow grease, rub well and rinse with water.

This is a fun natural cleaning product to make with the kids as it rises and feels soft and fluffy in the process.

Be careful not to put it in your jar too soon as it creates pressure when rising and can pop the lid off. Leave overnight then screw the lid on the next day.

DIY Christmas Cleaning Paste

1 cup  Green Goddess Premium Baking Soda

1 tbsp cream of tartar

10ml Green Goddess Hemp & Coconut Unscented Liquid Castile

9 drops Lotus Synergy Christmas Tree Blend

(Or you can make up your own blend with 2 drops Orange Sweet Essential Oil, 4 drops Pine Essential Oil and 3 drops Clove Bud Essential Oil.)

5ml water

In a bowl mix together the baking soda and cream of tartar. In a jug mix 10ml of liquid Castile soap with the water then add the essential oils.

Slowly pour into the baking soda and tartar, mix with a fork until you have a paste. Add a little more water if you need to.

Leave for two hours to rise, put into a jar, leave overnight and tighten the lid in the morning. Use to clean kitchen and bathroom sinks, baths and toilets etc.
