Drink it – Add a teaspoon to warm pure water and drink, health benefits listed above.

Clean Your Hair Brush  – Baking soda is great to help naturally remove oils, build up, and residue on your hair brush. Make this simple recipe.

Freshen Your Mouth — Put one teaspoon in half a glass of warm water, stir to dissolve then swish, spit and rinse. Odours are neutralised, not just covered up.

Use as a Facial Scrub – Give yourself a quick but effective facial. Make a paste of 3 parts baking soda to 1 part warm water. Rub gently in a circular motion to exfoliate the skin. Rinse clean.

Use as an Antacid — Baking soda is a safe and effective antacid to relieve heartburn and acid indigestion. Mix a teaspoon in a small glass of warm water and swallow.

Treat Insect Bites — Make a paste out of baking soda and apple cider vinegar and apply as a salve onto affected skin.

Make a Hand Cleanser and Softener — Neutralise odours and remove dirt with this paste, mix 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water and 1 part Green Goddess Hemp & Eucalyptus Cleaning Soap.

Detox Your Scalp — Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda into your palm and mix to a paste. Massage this into your scalp and roots to remove chemical residue left by commercial shampoos and styling products. Leave on for 5 minutes, wash as usual.

Make a Bath Soak — Add 1/2 cup of baking soda to your bath to neutralise acids on the skin and help wash away oil and perspiration, it also makes your skin feel very soft.

Soothe Your Feet – Dissolve 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of Green Goddess Premium Epsom Salts in a bucket of warm water and soak your feet for 15 minutes.
