Refreshing Body Spray
Summers here and so are the holidays, we are off camping over the break and no doubt will spend a bit to long in the sun, even though we’re very careful, it’s fairly easy to end up getting a bit too much. Over the summer months this body spray is very popular, it’s light but super refreshing, perfect for freshening up when you’re feeling overheated.
I’ve used three essential oils for their ability to calm agitated skin, Peppermint is naturally cooling making it ideal for light sun burn or inflammation, Lavender amplifies the skin’s ability to renew itself due to the adaptogenic compounds it contains, Frankincense is incredibly good for a variety of skin conditions whilst also helping with the mental side of healing and discomfort and the Himalayan Salts are rich in essential minerals that help to refresh and nourish your skin.  Once out of the sun apply as often as needed, but keep away from your face and eyes. Do not apply to sun burnt skin or rashes, this is a refreshing spray to help with heat, not burns or skin conditions.

Ingredients
3 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
1 drop Lavender Essential Oil
1 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
1/4 tsp  Himalayan Salt  (if you’re prone to allergies I would leave this out)
1 tbl Hemp Seed oil
½ cup Witch Hazel
¾ cup Filtered Water

Place all ingredients in a glass jug and stir to combine, then pour into a spray bottle and shake to help the salt dissolve, after a day or two there won’t be any granules visible, shake really well before each use and keep away from eyes and face. Do not apply to sun burnt skin or rashes, this is a refreshing spray to help with heat, not burns or skin conditions.
