My parents’ generation will remember the time when you bought a fridge which lasted your lifetime, and a washing machine. These days we have designed obsolescence which means appliances are designed not to last too long, so that you will need to buy another one and keep the manufacturers very happy.
So I love this website which only stocks cookware, clothing , furniture and loads of other products which you will only buy once. How refreshing! And how great to reduce waste. Unfortunately they don’t ship here but you can use the site to research products which are made to last and perhaps seek them out locally.
