Haka NZ record

On September 29th, up to 10,000 New Zealanders from all walks of life will gather at Eden Park, New Zealand’s National Stadium, for an unforgettable event. How awesome does this sound!

With some of our most celebrated musicians, sports legends, and kapa haka icons, this event is about restoring the mana of a world record back to where it belongs. Currently it is held by France when 4,028 people preformed it 10 years ago.

So whether you’re on the field or cheering from the stands, this is your chance to be part of something truly spectacular.

Can you help us to reclaim the world’s largest Haka!

Be part of a once in a lifetime event to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for the largest haka at Eden Park supported by stellar lineup of entertainment from New Zealand music legends:

• Anika Moa • Che Fu • Corrella • Georgia Lines • Hollie Smith • Kings • MAJIC • Paige • PERE • Ria Hall • Rob Ruha • Shepherds Reign • Tami Neilson • Topp Twins

The cost of the ticket will raise funds for the Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust, delivering life-changing music therapy to those who need it most and is brought to you by The Eden Park Trust, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited and other event sponsors.

10,000 strong

If you’ve ever witnessed or been a part of a haka, you would have felt the overwhelming power and the emotion that washes over you. It’s the mana. Now imagine the power of thousands of people standing shoulder to shoulder performing haka in unison and creating a new world record.

This momentous event will showcase our rich cultural heritage to the world and reinforce the deep connection we all share through HAKA.

So on Sunday 29th of September, bring your friends and family to stand with the nation as we create a new world record and bring the mana back home to Aotearoa.

Tickets start at only $5 and there are options to join online.
