    Product Description

Premium Oxy Bleach (sodium percarbonate) is a greener alternative to chlorine bleach as it breaks down to oxygen and water in the environment. It’s a highly effective stain remover and disinfecting agent.

Oxy Bleach provides powerful cleaning, bleaching, stain removal and deodorising actions and is safe for coloured clothes as well as whites.

It’s an effective laundry bleach for your whites, for scrubbing stains and stuck-on-gunk off of dishes or cleaning tile grout and stubborn stains and is also perfect for cleaning your home brew kit. Use as a general purpose home brew cleaner and sanitiser.

Oxy-Bleach solutions will remain active for 5 to 6 hours, after which they should be discarded. Unused material may be poured down the drain. It will actually help clean and deodorise your disposal or toilet. Oxy-Bleach solutions are most effective when mixed and used in warm to hot solutions (37 to 65 C).

-Add 1/4 cup to an average load of whites to sanitise, whiten and brighten. If you want those whites really white, grab one of our Natural Sheet Whitening Kits
-Mix 1/3 cup with 2/3 cup Green Goddess Premium Soda Ash to make a powdered laundry soaker (or purchase Green Goddess Natural-San). For each soak use 2 Tbsp with 9 litres of water. Soak for at least an hour. Or you can soak with 2Tbsp to 9L water, leave overnight or for around four hours (if you have not added soda ash)
-Mix 1 Tbsp with water to make a paste. Rub on the stain and leave for 5 minutes before washing.
-At the correct concentration level, Premium Oxy-Bleach can be used as a no-rinse sanitiser. Use at a rate of 5g per litre.

Ensure coverage over all surfaces that require sanitising. For best results allow wet surfaces to stand for at least 10 minutes.

“I went through a whole 1kg tub of my oxygen bleach this week discovering new uses for it. First Paul gave me a pile of clothes he had managed to spill things on and even though they were coloured I threw them all in a 12 litre tub with 1.5 cups of oxygen bleach dissolved first in warm water. I soaked them for 24 hours then washed and there were no stains to be seen anywhere and the colours weren’t faded. You can do the same with whites but up the bleach to 2 cups.

I then made up a spot cleaner by mixing 2 tbsp oxygen bleach with 1 cup of warm water and putting it in a spray bottle. I sprayed this on spots on some of Paul’s white T-shirts, left for 24 hours then washed. No spots! You can increase the bleaching power by putting the shirt in the sun once you have sprayed it.

Then I was cleaning the shower door which had got quite scummy. As you know I usually use a 50/50 vinegar water mix but this time I grabbed the oxygen bleach spot cleaner I had made in the spray bottle and sprayed that on. After five minutes it washed completely clean – so that’s my new shower door cleaner. A warning, my shower door is glass, so I’m not sure what this would do on plastic, so try a corner first.” Wendyl Nissen
