Change for good

I have some very good news for you this week because Wendyl’s has new owners. Please meet Triona Daly (pictured) who will be running the business with her partner Grant from now on. And before you panic – this newsletter will still be turning up in your inbox every week and I’ll be writing it. So things will continue as normal, but perhaps with a bit more business acumen as Grant has worked in retail and distribution businesses for over 20 years, and Triona has been the company’s bookkeeper for the past three years, so she definitely knows what she is getting into!
For my family this means we can leave the business in the capable hands of people who have the knowledge and experience to take it to the next level and give it the infrastructure and commitment it deserves. We are a family of artists and writers and have always struggled with the business side of things, so we felt it was time to let the business grow. It’s been quite hard for me to let go, but thanks to Triona I’m still going to be involved through the newsletter and will retain an interest in the business.
