Have you ever wondered about the effects of toxic treated timber in New Zealand?
Recently The People’s Inquiry spoke to Vicki Grieve who made a submission to the Inquiry about her experience with exposure to toxic treated timber in her new home. Unknown to her, the “natural timber” cladding used inside her new home was found to be highly toxic treated timber designed for outdoor use. The effects were catastrophic on her health.
Please take a watch and share it around to help get the word out about these toxic building materials. If you have a story to share about toxic timber, please get in touch with The People’s Inquiry: [email protected].

Vicki Grieve shares her experience of having severe health problems triggered by toxic treated timber used in her new home. Vicki contracted a company to build her beautiful new tiny home with materials that appeared natural, but over a period of several weeks she began to experience an array of health problems.
Big thank you to Vicki for sharing her story and for helping to raise awareness about this huge issue.
