Premium White Vinegar Double Strength is a cleaning grade vinegar containing 9.9% acetic acid – making it twice as strong as standard supermarket products.
White Vinegar is a great disinfectant, it’s just as strong as bleach but without the toxins. It also cuts grease very well and acts as a deodoriser.
How does it kill germs …
The acetic acid in white vinegar crosses the bacteria’s cell membrane, prompting a release of protons, which causes the cell to die.Add 1/4 cup to the rinse cycle (or the fabric softener dispenser) of a standard wash to deodorise and disinfect clothes when washing.
Use as a rinse aid in your dish washer for sparkling dishes.
Premium White Vinegar Double Strength has been distilled in New Zealand by distillers with over 30 years experience using high quality natural ingredients and guaranteeing consistent quality.
Try these and other recipes;
• Spray on weeds instead of RoundUp, which is highly toxic to the environment and to you.
• To remove chewing gum, rub it with full-strength vinegar.
• Soak paint stains in hot vinegar to remove them.
• To remove bumper stickers from car chrome, paint on vinegar and let it soak in. Next, scrape off the stickers. Decals can be removed similarly.
**Fantastic for cleaning showers and grout when combined with Peppermint or Rose Cleaning Paste.
Put the paste on a sponge and smear onto the area, add a spray of neat double strength white vinegar. This will create a chemical reaction that will help to lift soap scum and clean grout. Scrub with an old toothbrush for best results. When done, rinse well with warm water and follow up with a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water. We just moved into the filthiest house, we used Cleaning vinegar, baking soda, essential oils & lots of elbow grease, we cleaned everything from walls/ceilings, windows (hot water, vinegar & essential oil) floors, carpets (shake n vac, baking soda & essential oils) bathrooms & the kitchen including the oven. Thank you green goddess for eco friendly, non toxic, economic products!
Vinegar & baking soda are also a great non toxic way of cleaning bird poo off of boats, hose off what you can then let it dry a bit then sprinkle baking soda over the areas needing to be cleaned then spray with straight vinegar, leave 10-15 minutes scrub off, rinse! The birds don’t like the smell so until it rains it also works as a deterrent.
