DIY Toilet Spray Cleaner

When it comes to cleaning toilets, most people instinctively reach for harsh, chemical-based products, believing they’re the only solution strong enough to tackle bacteria. Two of the most potent oils are clove essential oil and cinnamon essential oil—both known for their strong antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties.

Clove bud essential oil, in particular, is a standout. Its active compound, eugenol, has been shown to disrupt bacterial cell membranes and inhibit bacterial growth. It doesn’t just mask odours—it tackles the actual microbes responsible for them.
