Did you know that a good way to soften callouses on your feet is as easy as crushing some aspirin?

All you need to do is to crush six aspirin* tablets into a powder, then mix them into a paste with 1/2 teaspoon each of water and lemon juice. Apply this paste to all the hard-skin spots on your foot, then put your foot in a biodegradable ‘plastic’ bag and wrap a warm towel around it.

Sit still for at least 10 minutes, unwrap your foot and scrub the entire area gently with a pumice stone. All the dead skin should come loose and flake off easily.

*If you are allergic to aspirin do not try this.
