Before substituting sugar for an artificial sweetener there’s quite a bit you should know, sweeteners are a never ending source of controversial claims both for and against them. These claims are often accompanied by warnings of possible cancer risks and neurological disease just for good measure. The number of different sweeteners themselves is starting to stack up, too.
