I always forget how easy it is to steam veggies. Not only is it easy but it’s a far healthier alternative to many of the common winter time techniques and recipes like roasting and frying. The variation in cooking time when steaming multiple different types of vegetables can complicate things, but it’s so easy to have just one side of steamed anything with every meal.
