To make your own natural oil diffuser you’ll need a carrier oil like sweet almond or jojoba and then choose essential oils according to your preference of scent and the properties they contain. As a general rule, the mix needs to be 20% essential oils to 80% carrier oil. The strength will depend on how much and which essential oils you use.  Keep in mind this will not be as strongly scented as a store bought diffuser that uses fragranced oil and a chemical based carrier.

Rose and Frankincense Oil Diffuser

1/4 cup Dipropylene Glycol Solubisor or Sweet Almond Oil

2.5 ml Rose Geranium Essential Oil

2.5 ml Frankincense Essential Oil

Pour the rose and frankincense oils into your diffuser and swirl really well to combine, add the reeds and let them soak for a couple of hours, then flip them over to promote the scent travelling along the channels. It’s a good idea to do this every so often and to add more essential oils when necessary.
