Homemade Baby Wipes

½ cup pure filtered water with no chemicals or chlorine

1 tbsp rosewater

1 tbsp witchhazel

Pour a little of the mixture into the bottom of a plastic container with an airtight lid. Rip up a few small kitchen towels or Chux cloths, place them in the bottom of the container, and pour a little more of the liquid on every time you have about 10 towels laid down. Continue layering until you have soaked all the clothes and put on the lid. For travel packs you can simply pop a few in a sealable plastic bag and pour some of the mixture in.

Many of our mums simply put the baby wipe liquid in a bottle with a spray top and opt to spray baby’s bum then wipe when doing a nappy change.

If you are using rosewater and witchhazel which have no preservatives in them, as we do at Wendyl’s, you will need to store excess baby wipe liquid in the fridge so it doesn’t go off.
