These dark chocolate clusters from brilliant Holistic Nutritionalist Natalie Brady are the best healthy snack and they are so ridiculously easy to make!
They are full of healthy fats, a little protein and full of deliciousness from the dark chocolate.
Ingredients
2 cups of mixed nuts (I used pecans, almonds, cashews and chopped brazil nuts)
8-10 squares of 70% lindt dark chocolate
1/3 cup dried currants
Pinch of sea salt
Method
In a large bowl add the nuts. Melt the dark chocolate (I add mine into a small pot over the stove on low heat to melt). Pour the chocolate over the nuts. Mix together until the chocolate coats all the nuts. Sprinkle with sea salt and give it another quick stir.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. For a small snack add 2-3 tbsp of the nut mix into a small pile on the baking paper. For a larger snack add 4 tbsp of the mixture into a pile on the baking paper. Pop tray into the fridge to set for 1 hour.
NOTE: The larger size is great for an afternoon snack and the smaller size snack is great for something light and little post dinner.
