MULLEDWINE
This is one of my favourite not-so-healthy winter drinks. 
Wendyl’s Mulled Wine
1 bottle strong, cheap red wine (a Merlot is good)
6 cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1 vanilla pod
2 star anise pods
Peel of one orange
1⁄4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 bay leaves (preferably fresh)
Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring to the boil. Turn the heat to low and let simmer with the lid on for 10 minutes. Be gentle. Take off the heat and enjoy.
