Here’s something for all you crochet people out there to admire. This lovely Piha Shawl was made for me by Alia Bland who designs crochet patterns for a living. I follow her on Instagram and fell in love with this shawl pattern but as I’m a knitter, not a crochet woman, I asked her if I could pay her to make one for me, and here it is. It’s made out of a lovely merino/silk blend from http://happygoknitty.blogspot.co.nz/ and I absolutely love it. I wear a lot of black, so it will be nice to have this to slip over my dresses and bring a bit of colour into my life.
