How To Clean Your Dishwasher With White Vinegar

Are your dishes coming out of the dishwasher looking a bit murky? Are your glasses cloudy and cutlery dull? Then your dishwasher is probably due for a clean.

Instead of using those little plastic containers filled with terrible smelling liquid available at the supermarket, you can clean your dishwasher naturally with double strength white vinegar – it’s a super easy process and the results speak for themselves.

All you have to do is put half a cup of Green Goddess Premium White Vinegar into your dishwasher when it’s empty, turn it on to the regular cycle, and let it run. This will remove any limescale build-up and will give it a good deodorising.

Before doing this I always take the filter out and give it a scrub with an old toothbrush, I then flush it with hot water to remove any excess grime.

I don’t recommend using supermarket white vinegar as it’s only around 5% acidity and won’t do the job, our super strength cleaning vinegar is almost double that at 9.9% acidity.
