I’ve shared quite a few of my skin care recipes over the past couple of years, but this one is one of my favourites using hemp seed oil, it’s very simple to make and to apply; gently pat the oil onto any problem areas you may have on your face, such as dry skin, crow’s feet, wrinkles and tired looking skin.
At home I make a larger batch and store it in the fridge in a dark coloured glass bottle that has a tight fitting cap, this makes it last well and it’s easy to top up your smaller daily use bottle when needed.
The Vitamin E oil in the recipe is brilliant for delicate facial skin as it blocks free radicals and it’s also a natural preservative helping to extend shelf life.
Hemp Seed Oil Facial Serum
2 Tbsp Kiwi Hemp Seed Oil
1.5 Tbsp Golden Jojoba Oil
3 Vitamin E Caps
1 Tbsp Rosehip Oil
1 Tsp Carrot Seed Oil
3 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
5 drops Rose Geranium Essential Oil
Mix all of the oils together and pour into a dark coloured airtight jar, preferably with a dropper for easy application.
Frankincense and carrot oil will help to correct blemishes and even out skin tone while the hemp, jojoba and rosehip oils help to reduce inflammation and soften fine lines. Just a few drops is all you need to leave your skin looking and feeling great, use morning and night – follow up with our Green Goddess Hemp & Acai Face Cream before going to bed.
Shake well before each use and store away from the sun and any humidity.
