I found this interesting article on water pollution in China. The air pollution in cities like Beijing gets a lot of media attention here in New Zealand, but I was unaware that water pollution was such a huge problem, too. More than 80% of the water in rural area wells used by farms, businesses and households is unfit for bathing or drinking due to industry farming. I can’t help but worry about the impact our farming industry may be having on waterways here in New Zealand.
