What I think healthy food is, what I’m told healthy food is, and what healthy food really is has always been confusing and still remains a largely grey area for me. I have advertisers and marketers telling me a bunch of things, health professionals telling me a bunch of other things, and sometimes I have both teaming up to tell me a bunch of things. The one person I’ve learned to listen to over the years, though, is my body.
I know what foods make me feel best and surprise, surprise, they’re most often unprocessed whole foods. I still love reading all about the latest and greatest health foods and studies being done and here’s an interesting post about our perceptions of healthy food that I found last week.
