This recipe works wonders on any sticky-gooey-gummy mess without any of the chemicals used in commercial products. I’m often removing labels from jars, tins, and bottles and can be left with a sticky tacky residue that’s difficult to get off.
But not anymore, this homemade recipe does the job and is very simple to make – you’ve probably got all you need in your pantry already. It’s the best thing for removing gooey, gummy adhesive and vivid/pen from glass, tins, and plastic without damaging the surface.
DIY Goo Be Gone
4 Tablespoons Green Goddess Premium Baking Soda
3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
3 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
Mix together and store in a small jar. To use, stir and take a small amount, rub on the goo in a circular motion until it lifts off, then wipe the surface clean. If using on painted surfaces do a patch test first.
