    Premium Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) is a naturally occurring salt with alkaline properties.

    Green Goddess Premium Natural Baking Soda is aluminium free, food grade and naturally mined in Colorado, whereas most commercial brands are factory produced using a chemical process that creates waste and pollutants.

    This is an incredibly versatile ingredient that we use in many of our Green Goddess products.

    It is also safe to ingest and is fantastic in baking, your cakes and muffins will be super soft and fluffy!

    Some uses for Green Goddess Premium Natural Baking Soda (other than baking) around the home:
    • dissolve 1 tsp in water to alkalise your body or to relieve heartburn
    • add ¼ cup to a sink full of water to remove chemicals when washing fruits and vegetables then rinse with clean water
    • when soaking beans add 1 tsp to prevent gassy issue and improve digestion
    • sprinkle on surfaces and rub with a damp cloth to clean
    • sprinkle in ovens, dampen with water and leave overnight
    • deodorise carpets, chopping boards, rubbish bins, carpets and fridges
    • keep cut flowers fresher for longer by adding 1 tsp vase water
    • pat under arms as a deodorant
    • use as a fabric softener by adding 1 cup to washing machine during the final rinse

Fantastic for grease removal when doing the dishes. Sprinkle some into the bottom of the pot or pan, add a small squirt of washing liquid, ( ecostore for me), and it gently melts away fats, oils. Add some hot water and a scrub to complete the clean. It also minimises potential drain blockaging, though I often throw the liquid out under the trees or lawn anyway. This product also has other uses which are not too hard to find out about!
