Various Empty clean Glasses

Did you know that you can give drinking glasses and wine glasses the treat of a lifetime by washing them in the dishwasher without detergent? Double strength cleaning vinegar is a very effective natural cleaning agent for making glassware shine.

If you have hard water (which contains minerals like calcium and magnesium) you will see white, cloudy deposits on glass surfaces over time. Vinegar’s acid can dissolve these mineral deposits, effectively removing and giving you shiny glasses once again.

White vinegar also has natural deodorising properties, which can help eliminate any lingering odours or residues in the dishwasher and on the glassware itself. When using this method you will also be cleaning your dishwasher naturally.

Best of all white vinegar because is a natural, environmentally friendly cleaning solution that doesn’t contain harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances. It’s a safe and non-toxic option.

Are your drinking glasses cloudy? Here’s how to make them shine again.

All you have to do is pour two cups of Green Goddess Premium White Vinegar into a dishwasher safe cup, jar or bowl, place it on the top rack of the dishwasher (not on the bottom) of the dishwasher, and then run the dishwasher on a regular cleaning cycle, preferably with hot water. You will be rewarded with clean, streak-free glasses.

If you still have a problem (which you shouldn’t) use a little Green Goddess Rose Cleaning Paste or Green Goddess Peppermint Cleaning Paste to get rid of the last remnants and wash as usual.

Be mindful of the fact that vinegar is acidic, so it’s not suitable for all types of glassware. It’s generally safe for most glass, but you should avoid using it on delicate or decorated glass that might be sensitive to acid.
