This body scrub is gentle and soothing, the chamomile and lavender smell lovely and are both very relaxing scents making this body scrub perfect to use at the end of the day. It will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated. I like to use a homemade body butter after the scrub to seal in moisture and to give my light summer tan some longevity. And yes, I believe in getting out in the sun, especially early in the morning and later in the afternoon, Vitamin D is vital for optimal health.

Chamomile Oatmeal Body Scrub

1/2 cup Oats

1/4 cup Coconut Oil

3 Tbls Hemp Seed Oil

2 Chamomile Tea bags opened

4 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

Grind the oats in a food processor until they’re broken up into a fine dust.

Heat the coconut oil in a bowl over water until runny, take off the heat and add the contents of the tea bag, the oats and the other ingredients, stir well until combined.

I use the body scrub in the shower right at the end so that I don’t wash all the moisturising oils off my skin, be sure to rinse out the shower when done.
