CAFFEINEFREE
Thanks to everyone who sent me ideas for caffeine free drinks after I gave up tea and coffee. Eileen said: “ Healtheries do a nice bevvie known as Cranberry and Apple. A splash of lemonade will cool it down and avoid third degree burns of the mouth (sometimes waiting 10 minutes for it to cool isn’t that practical).
If you ever decide to return to tea, “Nerada” do a pesticide free range tea (in green packet in Countdown).”
Sue suggested taking weak black tea without milk to help with tummy problems and Linda suggested Rooibos tea. “I drink Rooibos tea which is naturally free of caffeine.  I don’t actually like normal tea at all, so drink the Healtheries Vanilla Rooibos Tea when I want a change from coffee.  I drink it very weak so only dunk the teabag.  You can also get plain Rooibos without the vanilla.” I used to drink Rooibos when my daughter Hannah was living with us and had completely forgotten how lovely it is.
I’ve since ordered some lovely Rooibos from KeriKeri Tea which is organic. They have two kinds of Rooibos and I was also tempted by their Feijoa tea.
