Did you know that borage can be made into a healing spray?  Make an infusion by pouring one cup of boiling filtered water over a quarter cup of bruised fresh borage leaves. Steep for five minutes and strain. Pour the mixture into a small spray bottle and keep in the fridge.

This spray is great for healing insect bites and inflamed or infected cuts, applied directly to any affected areas. If you have tired eyes you can gently mist the area with eyes closed. For sore throats, you can gargle the infusion, but be sure to spit out.
