DIY Fabric Wrinkle Relaxer Spray
Posted on February 18 2026
This spray can be used on moderately wrinkled clothes when you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to iron. It helps relax the fabric fibres so wrinkles can drop out naturally, meaning you can wear items without needing a dryer, steamer, or iron.
For heavily creased clothing, sheets, or linen, you’ll get the best results by using this spray lightly before ironing. It softens the fibres, making ironing quicker and easier.
It only uses three simple ingredients, takes minutes to make, and is incredibly handy to keep on hand for wardrobe emergencies, travel, or freshening clothes that have been folded for a while.

DIY Fabric Wrinkle Relaxer Spray
2 cups warm filtered water
1 tsp Natural Laundry Liquid
1 Tbsp Green Goddess Premium White Vinegar
Measure the warm water into a Pyrex jug or similar container. Add the laundry liquid and stir well to dissolve it into the water as much as possible. Add the white vinegar and stir again. The vinegar smell will disappear once the fabric is dry.
Pour into a clean spray bottle and shake very well. Shake before each use, as the ingredients will naturally separate.
To Use
Lightly mist clothing from about 20–30 cm away, then gently smooth or tug the fabric with your hands. Hang the item up and allow it to dry. Wrinkles will relax as the fabric dries. So simple yet effective.
