DIY Super Stain Remover
Posted on September 10 2025

This homemade super stain remover recipe was sent in by one of our lovely customers. I know I’ve shared a few stain removers before, but this one comes with a gold star!
You only need three ingredients to make it and it’s tough on hard to move stains that even commercial stain removers can’t budge.
For best results, try to treat stains as soon as possible, as fresh stains are much easier to remove than those that have set in over time. This stain remover is not only effective but also avoids the harsh chemicals found in many commercial products, making it safer for your family, your fabrics, and the environment.
DIY Super Stain Remover
1/4 cup Green Goddess Hemp & Eucalyptus Dish Wash Liquid
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide
1 tsp Green Goddess Premium Baking Soda
Mix the ingredients together very well. Apply to the stain with an old toothbrush or similar.
Leave for 5 – 10 minutes or until the stain is starting to lift out. For tough stains leave on the stain for up to an hour, repeat if needed. Wash as usual.
I used it on wool and on delicate filter curtains and it seemed fine but I’d test on a very small part first if you’re concerned. Is great on white items.
Store in a glass jar.
