DIY Christmas Cleaning Paste

This beautifully Christmas-scented cleaning paste is incredibly versatile - perfect for lifting marks off walls, making baths and showers sparkle, and cutting through baked-on grime on pots and pans.

One of my favourite uses is on shower glass. It works wonders on stubborn calcium build-up and helps keep it from coming back. Just wet a sponge, apply a little paste, rub it over the glass, then rinse well with water.

For extra hard spots use the paste then spray with our Double Strength White Vinegar and use some elbow grease, rub well and rinse with water.

DIY Christmas Cleaning Paste

1 cup Green Goddess Premium Baking Soda

1 tbsp cream of tartar

10ml Green Goddess Hemp & Coconut Unscented Liquid Castile

make up your own blend with 2 drops Orange Sweet Essential Oil, 4 drops Pine Essential Oil and 3 drops Clove Bud Essential Oil

5ml water

Method

In a bowl mix together the baking soda and cream of tartar. In a jug mix 10ml of liquid Castile soap with the water then add the essential oils.

Slowly pour into the baking soda and tartar, mix with a fork until you have a paste. Add a little more water if you need to.

Leave for two hours to rise, put into a jar, leave overnight and tighten the lid in the morning. Use to clean kitchen and bathroom sinks, baths and toilets etc.

Be careful not to tighten your jar too soon as it the paste creates pressure when rising and can pop the lid off.
