Book Hero Hobsonville

How awesome is this! Book Hero has opened its new store and warehouse just up the road from us in Hobsonville and it's delightfully whimsical, with lovely spaces to sit and read which is fantastic for children and adults alike.

If you love books as much as I do, this is a pretty exciting addition to the area. Book Hero is a 100% New Zealand owned independent bookstore with a huge range of books, games, puzzles and toys. Their new home at 112B Hobsonville Road is a book lover’s dream, with more than 130,000 books, games and puzzles in stock.

Book Hero also has a great online store .. however it's so lovely to be able to pop in and browse, you might go in looking for one particular book and come out with something completely unexpected.

Whether you’re after a gripping novel, a cookbook, a gardening book, something for the kids or a gift for a friend, it’s always nice to have plenty of choice.

I also love that Book Hero is a Kiwi-owned independent business. With so much shopping happening online these days, it’s great to see a local business growing and creating a space where people can discover books and enjoy a bit of browsing. Supporting independent New Zealand businesses helps keep our communities interesting and gives us more choice about where we spend our money.

Of course, if you prefer shopping from home, you can still browse their website and have your books delivered. You can also order online and collect your purchase from the Hobsonville store for free, which is a handy option if you live nearby.

I think it’s wonderful to have another local business to explore, and I’m looking forward to heading back for a browse. There’s always room for another book on the shelf, isn't there?

If you’re in the Hobsonville area, why not call in and see what you can find?
