The Bank of Real Solutions was initially discussed in 2009 at the Transition Towns national forum. It is now up and running and making a difference around the country by bringing successful working models to overcome social and environmental challenges that exist in NZ out into the open to be shared.
The focus is on what makes us more resilient, vibrant, healthier, happier, and better connected – in our households, our neighbourhoods, regions and as a nation. Stories are invited to be submitted and are reviewed. Once accepted, they are put up onto the site so that others can learn from systems, get advice, ideas and help.
I love this idea, learning directly from previous success stories and having a helping hand when starting up a business or initiative that helps our communities and the country and can potentially help on a global scale. The Bank of Real Solutions is one bank I really do like and I think you will too. Check out all the inspiring stories, or submit one of your own and potentially win $1000.00 here.
