Apple Peanut Butter Donuts

These guilt free ‘donuts’ from the Hemp Farm Chef are such a fantastic idea for a super quick and healthy snack to keep the family topped up on energy between meals over the summer holidays.

Make it a fun activity and get the kids involved by letting them plaster the slices with peanut butter and get creative with their favourite toppings. If you’re not a fan of peanut butter just swap it out for almond or cashew, or any nut or seed butter that you enjoy.

Apple & Peanut Butter ‘Donuts’

Ingredients:

2 Green apples

4 tbsp Peanut butter, (or your favourite nut butter)

Dried or fresh fruit

Seeds & Nuts

Directions:

Slice a crisp green apple into 1cm rounds. Use a sharp knife or an apple corer to remove the seeds.

Spread each slice with peanut butter.

Decorate with toppings of choice.

Ideas for toppings: Blueberries, grapes, raspberries, coconut, raisins, hemp hearts, choc chips, mixed nuts, chia seeds.
