I absolutely love unicorns and this is the gorgeous doll that Grant gave me for my 50th birthday. Roxanne hand makes all of her dolls to your specific design, you can choose from unicorns, bunny girls, mermaids, forest elves and coming soon are beautiful wee Christmas elves.

Each one is unique and designed especially for you based on your chosen colours and outfit. The creative process is quick, easy and enjoyable – my doll started off being a Stevie Nicks rocker but over the process she became more whimsical and colourful which I just love – her little long coloured hair and crocheted vest are divine!

This is what Roxanne has to say about the process:

Sometimes you might find the perfect unicorn but you don’t like her eyes, outfit or certain colour. I’m here to say that’s not a problem, I can sort it all out for you.

The process is easy, add a custom unicorn listing to your cart and purchase it. I will then email you, or you can email me or send me a message on one of my social media channels.

We’ll discuss what colours your wanting, any themes you’d like, eye colour and body colour. And of course the outfit!

I will also send you photos through the process, to check that I’m creating the best unicorn for you.

Custom unicorns can take up to 3 weeks to complete, especially of I have to order something in (Blenheim is seriously lacking craft supply stores) or if your design is complicated.

When your delightful unicorn is all made and ready I will do some final photos (these are usually the ones I will share on social media) and check that you’re happy with it. It will then be couriered to you.

So just who is Roxanne, I hear you ask?

About me:

I have been creating ever since I can remember, my mother is a crafts woman, as is her mother, so I guess it’s been bred into me. 

I studied pattern making and construction many many years ago. I make all my own patterns for my dolls and their clothes.

Originally from the West Coast of the South Island of NZ, we now as a family live in Marlborough.

As well as creating dolls I have created 3 very special little humans. These girls keep me on my toes and I often have to put home life first! These little nutters are great toy testers though.

I have a passion for this. I won’t be stopping any time soon. I hope you enjoy the website and viewing my wee creations.

I try to source the best materials. I like working with high quality product and materials, so I know the pieces I’m offering are top of the line too! I do however also like to upcycle and reuse certain things. This is always in the description though. I love using odds and ends of wool for the hair, this makes each doll so unique and different.
