essential oil foot run for stress relief

Certain essential oils, such as lavender, chamomile, and bergamot, are known for their calming and stress-relieving properties. Inhaling these scents can trigger relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety. When applied with a carrier oil during a foot rub they are also absorbed through the skin.

Foot massages also enhance circulation which helps to deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells. The reflexology pressure points on your feet when massaged with essential oils can give an overall feeling of well-being and relaxation, thus reducing stress.

Essential Oil Foot Rub For Stress Relief

To make an essential oil foot rub take 4 drops essential oil and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or sweet almond oil, or for an earthier blend use hemp seed oil.

Mix the oils together and then massage into the bottoms of your feet for at least 5 minutes. It’s also good to apply just before bed as it will soak in overnight. You can also use this as a relaxing neck and shoulder rub.
