I tried this recipe out a couple of weeks ago and it’s fantastic. Super easy to make and is another way to use up all those lemons before the season comes to an end. This polish will keep for a couple of months if stored in a sealed jar in a dark cupboard.

Once applied you will need to do a bit of buffing at the end but the shine is well worth it. The acidic lemon juice works as a cleaner and the coconut oil is great at polishing.

DIY Lemon Coconut Furniture Polish

1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 cup lemon juice

If the coconut oil is solid place it in a small jar and immerse in some hot water to melt it. Then add the lemon juice, put the lid on and give it a good shake to combine.

Use a little on your furniture and rub in with a cloth then buff it up to a shine with another soft cloth.
If this separates and hardens between uses simply heat in hot water again and give it a good shake before use.
